  • Conversion needed cos I am fick

    I'm not Saul and I'm nowhere near Damascus, its a different sort of conversion altogether.
    I am trying to change .16 of a mile into the nearest round number in metres.

    Help happily received

        Cheers Kernowyon. I tried as many conversion sites as I could find but not one that helped me. Durrrrr.

          erm Bob, if you just type '0.16 miles to meters' into google, it will give you the answer.

          0.16 miles to meters = 257.49 and a bit

                google is your friend, its great for converting stuff cos you just ask it in plain english rather than needing to know the formula of anything.

                i am cr@p at math so i use it all the time.

                  I'm cr*p at maths too, but never thought to use Google, even though I use it for just about everything!

                  I use;

                  which I find quite useful. X

                    It has just taken me an hour to work out 500lbs at £100 and I'm still not sure I have it right. Is it 20p. per lb.??
