  • Contract signed!!! so here we are!!!

    Says it all really!
    OH signed his work contract today for 3 months ( hope like mad it's going to be permanent)
    Spent today cooking veg from the potager to fill our new freezer for the next few months!
    Fingers crossed folks!!

      Ha no SBP!!!!
      Used to be a lawyer in charge of 300 peeps...now setting up an English section to a French Estate Agency!!!....Just got fed up+++

                Soooo pleased for you both. Here's hoping that it becomes permanent (I'm sure it will). Funny how the old stress levels go down once you come here and lose the rat race life.

                Know what you mean re food parcels though, what with the euro/pound rate atm but you adjust and as the old well worn saying goes - quality of life and all that. Fingies crossed for you.

                  Hope it's the start of The Good Life for you both Nicos.
                  I'm sure food parcels can be arranged if necessary But can't imagine what you'll be short of - aren't the French pretty good at wine & chocolate?

                          So pleased for you Nicos, I'd love to get out of the country I thought I could never permanently leave.

                          France is dreamy love the pace of life and ethos, mind you anywhere else than blighty is better at present
