    Was this a compliment - or not?

    Today, I met a Russian lady and her British husband on the beach; we had the usual brief chat about the weather etc, and, when I walked on she called out to me -
    "You look beautiful from the back". I gave them a quick wiggle and a wave and walked on, puzzled!
    Have you had similar ambiguous remarks from strangers and if so, what??

      several years ago after losing nearly 5st,was in large in town store,when a voice said{mmmm nice bum},on turning round there was a young fella,well i was gobsmacked to say the least,he then walked away,maybe he had a bigger shock than i,seeing i was old enough to be his mum lol,the weight,well kept it of for 5 years,and put 4 back on,never mind,was nice while it lasted,

                  Thanks Snadger! It was a bit like going to the hairdressers, having your hair "done" and being told it looks nice at the back!! What are "they" trying to tell me? (Answers are not required!)

                        As my dad used to say a well turned ankle and a tight little bum = magic.

                        And you only see that from the rear. Deffo a compliment in my humble opinion.

                          I was experimenting with some eye liner earlier and was most chuffed when my youngest son (6) told me it was a fabulous look... unfortunately he added 'for a scary party'
                          I was feeling part of the scenery
                          I walked right out of the machinery

                            Way back when I was about 17 years of age I was walking along a busy road when one of my laces came undone, so I bent over to tie it and as I did so a car with a group of guys in it drove past, one of them shouted something along the lines of "Nice ar*e, darling!". You should have seen their faces when I turned around and they saw that I was actually a guy with long wavy hair.

                            So apparently I had a nice rear end....for a girl.

                            I'll let you decide if that's a compliment or not.
                            Tried and Tested...but the results are inconclusive
