              Oh Bins - so funny...

July is usually one of the driest months so a lot of time my be spent watering.....or adding to the water by crying into it

Mulching will help preserve moisture but may encourage slugs so you may need to take action against them ........by renting in a sniper with a salt/beer gun

All your hard work is really giving you a reward now....... and that is a bad back, with no veg

              Broad Beans.......chocolate spot and death
French Bean......not in England this year
              Runner Beans......has beens
Courgettes and cucumbers......not on the allotment, because I've given in
tomatoes......waiting for the blight any day now I feel

No apples or pears that I can see. My plums are as green as the the few tomatoes I have. Everything else has gone sickly yellow. As for bolting - duh, huge amounts of water equals everything bolting.
Throw away the manual Bins! I am reading Winter Vegetables by Charles Dowding - it feels more appropriate somehow.

I haven't seen many white cabbage butterflies this year, but I did find eggs in the broad beans so they must be pretty desperate too.
