  • cold!!!

I know, very boring to talk about the weather, but I am sure we are going to have snow tonight, it has turned really cold today!
Had been thinking it was going to start warming up last week, nearly moved the guinea pigs back outside at the weekend, but glad we didnt now, it's freeeezing!

My guineas stay out all year round, but we're a lot further south than you. We had a low of 1c last night (and a hard frost)

Yes it was very cold last night - even with thermal socks, multiple blankets and a heater I was still chilly. Bike ride into work at 7.30 am was frosty and very cold, but nice too. What a lovely day

We had lovely sunshine today, but the wind was still very cold. Fish pond in my garden had a frozen surface, which confirmed to me that it was worth waiting a little longer before I sow me spuds.

It's still only March.....of Course we 'could' get snow.....but why not just enjoy the sun whilst it's here?!

Frosty start to the morning but lovely and sunny all day. I think snow sometime in the next 2 weeks. I think I've said it before but it's snowed on or around the 16th of March for the last 2 years.

Woke up to heavy, if wet snow showers this morning, and it has continued all day
Fortunately it isnt sticking, but still very, very cold!
Strong winds too, blowing straight off the white hills, makes it feel even colder!

We're bound to have blizzards for the next few weeks - my son starts lambing on Monday...

It's not been good here, got caught in two white outs today. Just seen the weather forecast and Coreopsis and Sewer Rat need to baton down the hatches cause it looks really bad for you two. Electric blanket is back on my bed tonight - brrrrrrrr

Snow here today but forecast looks even more bleak for tomorrow. Not nice, not nice at all, especially of you're a gardener -thermal boiler suit tomorrow methinks!

Sorry to hear you've got it again, but can you keep it up there please? The whole bloomin' place comes to a standstill when it hits here and I'd rather not have that again!
