  • The clocks spring forward tonight - the countdown has ended

Before the clocks go back [to forward] and trips in the evening to the lottie start back up again.

*The number of days in the title will go DOWN as the number of days to the clock going forward GOES DOWN. HTH.

If you wish to discuss the politics of this please start your own thread. This is a thread about GARDENING and being able to visit the plot in the EVENINGS. Thank you.

I'm back to work tomorrow, so not more day trips except weekends. I hadn't though of the clocks changing, so that's cheered me up a bit.
I could not live without a garden, it is my place to unwind and recover, to marvel at the power of all growing things, even weeds!

Yes, actually, it is. It's quite depressing to get to the point of going to work just as dawn is breaking, and then be plunged back into darkest night for another 2 weeks again.

Given the choice, I'd rather go to work in the dark, and have the light in the evening to do stuff outside. Mind you, as I work inside I suppose that's more understandable than for the people who work outside. Dark evenings I just want to come home, eat and sleep.
