Was accosted by a pair of fine brown beauties on my way down to the shop this morning just deciding on whether to cross the road! 
Very friendly girls, obviously well-handled, they followed me home with very little encouragement and are now singing chicken-style sea shanties in a big pet carrier.
Have given them a selection of seeds, apple, lettuce, a few brown bread crumbs and attached a pot of water to the inside of the door so they can't knock it over. Got 'em bedded on some dry leaves that I raked up the other day.
Can't help hoping that no-one claims them, I'm already planning on where to put the run.....
