  • The Cheek Of It ..... or was it?

Having sown some radish seeds to define my parsnip lines, having read it's what the professional peeps do - I picked my first harvest on Saturday of 14 fine, little belters. I tied them into a bunch with string and washed them and then gave them to my Dad to present to my Mum, as an edible posy - 20 mins later got a phone call from my Mum asking which supermarket I'd bought them from, cos they looked too good for me to have grown!!

After much indignation, then thought, hold on, that's might just be a back-handed compliment there, well that's my view and it sounds good enough to me - okay it's only radishes, but it's a start -well chuffed

Well done radishes are still better tasting when you grow them yourself as with most things! Good luck with the rest of your harvests!! :-)

Well done Mogs, you do right to take it as a compliment, wait till they tell you how they taste, it will not be like supermarket radishes!
