Did anyone see it just now - Alan Titchmarsh strolling around Highgrove with Prince Charles.

    Lovely - so lovely!

    The Sewer Garden was amazing

It was good, hopefully it'll be repeated cos Snowdrop wanted to watch it but he was out boozing

Odd that he wanted to watch it cos he isn't a gardener as such, I guess he wants to keep an eye on the new Boss

I saw it Piskie and I thought it was wonderful. As you say, even the sewer garden looked good. They certainly have done a lot of work on it and the birdsong everywhere seemed to say they have got it just right.

I liked the garden but wasn't too keen on the programme. I did think they made a swift exit from the 'first stage' of the sewage reed bed, it looked a bit 'pongy' to me!
I'm sure we could all have such a beautiful garden if we had his money & a team of gardeners to take care of it & Alan looks too much as though he's lining up ready for his knighthood!
I did like the wildflowers & the stumpery but didn't like the guide telling everyone to not use phones or cameras ('no secateurs' was a good one though!), what do they think everyone is going to do take photos of Camilla hanging out her smalls to dry & sell them to the papers?!

That's nothing Sue; the rules when we were at the START festival the other week [at Clarence House] were a tad OTT - probably ok for a proper royal visit but a bit extreme for a festival.......where anyone could have bought a ticket....

I've just watched most of it on iPlayer - there was a glitch, so it stopped - very inspiring I have to say. Lovely programme, and the Gardens would be well worth a visit, I reckon.

if for no other reason than to peer in through the Sun Dial Garden window and spot Charles hiding from 'us'
