Yeah, had a great time - our first (but not last) with Bean. He had a wail of a time, especially swimming, charging about the villa in his walker and sitting in the trailer with me peddaling like a loon.

Does the 'glue' mentioned in point 1 have anything to do with point 3, or were they just trying to get out of being point 4?

No, the glue mentioned in point 1 had everything to do with two individuals who seemed to have their buttocks "glued" to the sofas (or any available seat) whilst the rest of us did all the cooking, cleaning etc.

We're there again in December, and then again in March. Then a full week next December!

You can probably tell, we quite enjoy it (depending on company of course

).

It's fantastic that time of year - getting up in the morning, walking through the sauna out into the cold, then straight into the hot tub. Ahhhh.

Wouldn't want to do it on a summer's day.

We've been a few times with the kids to the one in Nottingham and had a fantastic time- whatever the weather.
We realised it was important though to take plenty of food though cos the restaurants etc were very expensive

I thought it could be a fun place to go for Xmas- but we never made it there- just long weekends from time to time.

Take lots of peanuts when you go back, Bean will love to feed the squirrel's and his baby giggles and squeals of excitement will be sooooo contagious

I used to go with some ladies I worked with,the winter visits were always my favourites.Do they still sell the briquettes so you can have an open fire?I loved feeling all snug & warm by the fire,looking out at the near frozen lake.

Yep, however our last two places have had gas fires. T'aint quite the same.

We love CP went every year sice CB was tinsy, not been able to in the last year or two, looking forward to going asap but probably not next year. Glad you had a good time though HW, just you wait until Bean is big enough for the activities

We used to go with friends who had 2 very small boys, the youngest one had his first visit at just 3 months, she plopped him into the hot tub and he learned to swim there and then!

The elder one turned on the spa bath, but we'd put 'bubble bath' in - the whole bathroom was full of bubbles in about a minute, with small boy standing giggling in the middle - fantastic holidays!
