    ...to home-alone Piskie

I'm on a 'nesting' spring (clock's wrong surely!) clean this morning, anything that is standing still is being shined, buffed, polished, moved, etc etc.

I just tried to move our very heavy glass CD rack from one roon to t'other, it's on wheels so easy peasy even for clumsy Piskie.

Nope! I get to carpet-edge gripper bit and one wheel falls off and a ton of CDs fall onto to my (bare) toes. Good grief they hurt!!

Time for a sit down and a lunchtime drinky poo, Piskie. The only solution.
Whooops - now what are the dogs getting up to?

I'm sat here looking at the sodding avalanche that needs picking up and then the wheel to fix and then my 'walking to Marrakech' to get done....

Sounds like the sort of thing I'd do! Hope the pain wears off soon, and I'd take a day off from the walk too, if I were you.

Oh dear Piskie. What a calimity. Surely all your well intended efforts this morning must credit you with at least the equivalent of a marathon and I am quite sure you are allowed dispensation for a week or two. Put your feet up - don't look at the cascade - it can stay there for a while. It's not going anywhere. It's time to feel real sorry for yourself xxxxxx

Following the consumption of a two-finger kit kat, I'm feeling better and ready to tackle the pile of plastic

However, they were in alpha order, not sure I'm ready for that yet. Could this be the start of my breaking of OCD

                Seems a bit drastic!

Must be the unseasonal sunshine here, but I've been cleaning the fridge and the oven, clearing out cupboards this morning.

But you're CD warning story has encouraged me to grab the laptop and get on the Vine instead - much safer!

Alphabetically? Mr TS's six thousand CDs aren't even in their cases (I just stuff them in a drawer now, he doesn't notice)

Hope your squashed toes are feeling better Piskie!
I did something similar once when I was getting ready for work one morning years ago, pulled open the door of our 'flat pack' wardrobe & it decided to fall over, crushing the dressing table & me against the bed! O.H. was downstairs & I'm weakly calling out 'Help, help' & eventually he came up & found me & started laughing, good job it was only MDF with pine trims & not solid oak!
