  • cctv and the stolen car !

my neighbour phone me up last sunday night at around eleven pm
saying that her car had been stolen from outside her house and could I look on the cctv to find out what time it went

so I did and rang her back, it showed the car driving past my house a 11.30 am

so she then reported the theft to the police and insurance company
got a crime reference number and the police said they would call around in the morning

she came around the next morning to look at the footage you could not see the driver

then see said they must of nicked it when I waked down to the newsagents at 11.30 !!!

then at 11.35 she was seen on the footage coming back home with paper

when I asked her how did you get to the newsagents

    the penny dropped

Sorry, I can't get the penny to drop as she said she walked to the newsagent. I guess it's a long way.

I know someone who reported her car stolen, after she went back to get it in the Multi-storey Car park, and it wasn't there. The Police soon found it - in the exact same spot on the floor above!

Unless I park in roughly the same place I generally end up wandering around for ages looking for my car!!

i went to the shop once .... and tied the dog up outside .... went to feed him a couple of hours later ..... he was still sat outside the shop ..... apparently the shopkeeper had tried to get a look at his tag .... but the dog must have thought he was trying to steal him and sat there baring his teeth for 2 hours

i also took rob into town with me, whilst still in his pram, he was about 4 weeks old, and 90% of the time was welded to me .... anyway i was wandering round sainsburys picking up a few bits .... went to put them in the basket that was on the shelf under the pram .... and couldn't find the pram ...... cue one hysterical mother running round like a loon, the security came running .... basically everyone was looking for the pram ........ when it dawned on me ....

i'd dropped him off with his dad who worked round the corner while i got 5 minutes peace to pick up a few bits .... oopsssssss

I once left my baby daughter outside the local Co-op while I walked home with the shopping. That was back in the days when you were safe to leave a pram outside the shop - the checkout girls used to keep an eye on them.

My mum once left my oldest brother in his pram outside a phonebox, after she'd used the phone she crossed the road to wait for a bus, the whole time she was at the bus stop she was looking over the road thinking "they've got the same pram as me" until she saw her bus pulling up and then realised that it was her pram!

Lol, My mum left my sister outside the butchers once, got home and asked ' how's the baby been', dad and gran looked at her puzzled then dad said 'you should know you took her with you'. She had to walk all the way back ( about 1 mile ) to get her.
