wow that sounds great, our cat won't wear a collar but she's chipped so does that mean i could just buy one of the cat flaps you've got?

how does it know which chip it's supposed to let through?

this is the one that I have - there is an area online that allows you to check that your cat's chip will work with this flap, then when you get it you do what I just did - pass the scanner (before fitting the flap) over the cat, it beeps to say it has read and accepted the cat's chip.

'mazing stuff eh

It also has a night function, which works on low levels of light - which means that when night falls the cat can get in but can't get back out....I will report back tomorrow morning on how many times the little darlings bashed their heads trying

Quite agree - not sure I can justify swapping to this doo-dah when I already have a cat flap, tho'.
