  • Carboot Sales

I have just purchased over 500 high end candles from Colony, Colonial and Carolina. Retail prices ranging from £1.00 to £15.00 each. Normally sold in places like Marks & Spencers, Habitat and Boots.

They're all packaged in bright colours and cellophane. Lovely and smelly!! There's also pot pourri and incense sticks as well......

Do you think I could sell these at a carboot sale? Would they sell?
All vehicles now running 100% biodiesel...

Although people will probably think they're nicked!

Some of us live in the past, always talking about back then. Some of us live in the future, always planning what we are going to do. And, then there are those, who neither look behind or ahead, but just enjoy the moment of right now.

Which one are you and is it how you want to be?

I love scented candles, especially the wintery-spicy-cinnamony type ones sold at Christmas time. Bets bring plenty of money to carboots in case you are there!!

Which one(s) were you planning on doing?

With a bit of luck I'll be doing Needham Lakes (Needham Market), Trinity Park (Ipswich) and The Royal British Legion (Felixstowe).

I recently bought 'the kit' for making my own candles in my favourite scents, lavender, pine and sandalwood (especially lavender). Must get some more made this week.....
