  • Cap in hand

On 27th November I shall be doing my first ever 5k run and so I’m coming cap in hand to raise funds for the RNLI – this is my donation page text:

This is my first ever run so be gentle, although I have been training for it and I will complete it so your faith in me will not be let down.

I get to run around a fantastic park, I shall be wearing a silly red flashing nose and I get to wear really cool antlers - oh yes, and I get to eat mince pies at the end.
Having lived much of my life by the sea, the RNLI is such a valuable and underfunded organisation.

Thank you so much to helping me to help them and for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.

    Wish me luck

    Suzie

If you can help me thank you so much – if my request annoys you please forgive (and ignore) me

In June next year I shall be doing a half marathon, but this won’t be just any old half marathon – oh no....it’s to be a Trail HM up and around Snowdonia – I may well cry!!

I shall be hoping to raise funds for nasty horrid cancer which stole my Mum and my wonderful Father-in-law.

But more about that next year

Happy to help Pisk, enjoy your mince pie at the end and I hope we can see some pictures of you and SD at the finish line.

This morning I woke to no electricity so decided to get out early for my w7 d2 25min run whilst eleccy men fix stuff.

At 21:06mins in I felt I 'had' to walk, so I walked for what seemed like ages - then determined not to be a 'failure' I picked up to a run again.

When I plugged in the garmin it turns out my 'long walk' was for 0:47secs - so why am I annoyed with myself!!

Boiled eggs and marmite soldiers fixed things
