  • Can anyone point me in the right direction?

This isn't anything at all to do with gardening, growing things, chickens or animal husbandry so sorry for that.

    Right - long story!

A couple of years ago I bought (haven't a clue why!) a Tasco StarGuide 60 computerised telescope. My friends were very enthusiastic about setting it up for me and took the instruction manual home to study it .................... yes, you guessed, they've lost it! We think the wife might have been having a clear out of old paperwork and it's been recycled I've been in touch with the supplier, and searched all over on the web to see if I can find some operating instructions to download and there's nothing. I want to sell the telescope to help pay my tax bill but without the instructions I'm not going to get anything for it am I? It's never been used either cuz we didn't know how to set it up.

Has anyone got any bright ideas what I can do next?

Have you tried getting touch with the maker?

MH, you've probably already tried this, but from Googling the StarGuide I gather it comes with a CD. Do you still nave that and have you checked on there for the manual? A lot of times these days companies put a copy of the manual on the CD.

Yes, and all they told me was that the date should be input in the American format - mm/dd/yyyy

              Also, I found this:

              http://www.nexstarsite.com/Manuals.htm

Which says "Original NexStar 60/80/114 Manual - original version hand control - applies to Tasco StarGuide as well "

              Any help?
