  • Bored, Bored, Bored!

I am naturally a busy person. I make all my own jam, wine, chutney, etc, etc,. I have sheep, horses, chickens (layers and meat birds), ducks. I have a huge garde. Two kids. A dog that needs walked....you get the picture.

Well all the xmas prep is done and we've had everyone over for meals the last few days so no-one to visit or visit us needed. Garden is still under 2 feet of snow so nothing doing there.

Compost is frozen solid - though brought it into the house to thaw out so should be defrosted in a week or so.

Kids have so much to do they have no interest in their mum!

Veg growing plans are done for 2011 - just need to wait for the weather to improve and the compost to defrost to get going....

    Telly is rubbish.

Dog only has teeny legs so walking takes hardly any time at all.

Horses can't be ridden in such poor conditions - too slippy.

so i am bored, bored, bored....any suggestions?

Go give the horses a really good groom? Get rid of all the dead hair under rugs etc?

If you don't fancy scrubbing the back steps how about decorating your seed box.

I'm never THAT bored Polly! Reading the Vine helps to offset the lack of gardening, I've got 22 books on my Kindle that I haven't read yet and I'm well under way with a quilt for a friend's wedding. Hoping to get time in the next day or two to cut the fabric for another, for sister's friend who's expecting. Never a dull moment!
