    OK - a bit of advice here folks......

    Don't spend half an hour threading bird eye chillies...and then go to the loo

        ooooh the chilli sting! I've chopped chillis and stuck my finger in my eye .... ouch

              sorry to point out the obvious, but sticking your finger in your eye isn't a good idea with or without chillies

                  I now always, always, always use nitrile gloves when preping my chillies. Sufering once from the red eye of sauron was enough.

                    So there you go.............sit in a bucketful of yogurt is what you need to do.

                    Or if you've poked your nose/eye etc..........tip a bucketfull of yogurt over your head!

                    Both remedies conjure up strange mental images!
