Well,just sat down to watch Huhg's(FW)appearance on The Buzzcocks,but......due to the shenanigans of Mr Brand earlier & as he was on the same one,the Beeb have seen it appropriate to replace it with a different one!

I was just excited(really don't get out enough!!)about HFW being on!!Doubt we'll ever get to watch it now due to a couple of "comedians" who couldn't be bothered to be funny so thought they'd go down the shock road instead!hey-ho!!the fates lead him who will;him who won't they drag.

I don't know about anyone else, but I'm tired of 'comedians' who think anything goes as long as it's 'just for a laugh' - we all enjoy comedy but some things are just not funny. Comedians/presenters/broadcasters should be creative enough to make us laugh without disrespecting others.

I missed the whole furore, but apparently there were TWO complaints about the programme at the time.

Totally agree. Its ridiculous the way this has blown up on the back of the media hype. Too many sticky beaks who can't wait to try and exact some revenge on people who have done very well for themselves. Dismissing ALL those who couldn't complain until they heard about it as 'jealous about the money', or 'just don't like' misses several important points.
People 'dont' like' what these 2 £$%^&* (especially Brand) imagine to be humour, and therefore WOULDN'T be watching, but may be shocked by just HOW far into tasteless this was once they heard of it, and as for the salaries, DO remember that these are paid from our licence fees, which I think gives us some rights in the matter (and no, I didn't complain, I just agree with those who express disapproval on assorted forums).Then there is the really important bit. We all know that such totally tasteless peurile 'humour' happens, but for it to be braodcast by the BBC gives it a legitimacy that it SHOULD NOT HAVE.
It's unfortunate that so few REAL comedians remain.Flowers come in too many colours to see the world in black-and-white.Comment

She is the main winner, but that's the celeb game baby. Its all a big game, Ross and Brand know that more than anyone, but they have now got such big heads, they think they can get away with anything.
As far as I understand Sachs was asked if he objected to the program going out and he said he did. But they still broadcast it.
My opinion is that it is not humour, it is trying to humiliate an old man in the worst way possible, through his granddaughter.
I like Ross, but I can't stand Brand. I don't think Ross did anything that bad actually, it would have been good if they had just left a funny message on the answerphone, which I think Ross had in mind. But as I wasn't there I don't know."Orinoco was a fat lazy Womble"

I think Miss Baillie would have been fair game, but her Grandfather probably hates what she's doing anyway, and didn't/doesn't need to be taunted about whatever she has/hasn't been up to with Russell Brand. The thought of my grandad getting a call like that... (I was no angel in my late teens

I do find Russell Brand quite funny, but this call should have been edited out by the show's producer before it was broadcast, and Mr Sachs ought to have had an apology before the media got hold of the story.
As for Jonathon Ross... I can't bear to watch his 'Friday Night With' show anymore, he's like a particularly grubby minded, leacherous old man, and I am not remotely interested in his sexual fantasies of every female guest that sits in front of him
So I'm not too bothered that he's off the telly for a bit.
