  • Beware small dogs!

The man from BT has just been to replace the modem. Before he came in he asked if I had dogs and were they locked away. Health and safety, you know, we have to ask.
Apparently, small dogs are the worst on the BT scale of dangerous dogs - top of the scale are dachshunds and chinchillas!!
Honestly, that's what he said. I bit my bottom lip and kept control, just!!

Yappy, snappy, move, quick and nip. That could be a litter of 5 puppies! I'm not surprised at that info VC, you can't always see a small dog coming so you don't get out of the way quick enough.

Was he able to fix the problem? Education education education!

On the topic of small dogs - we have two - they keep away all! Just the way I like it

I used to deliver the Electoral Register forms each year and chase up ones that hadn't been returned.

The most viscious dog on my route was a particularly nasty Yorkie who lived in a house with a floor level letter box. I soon learned to push the flap open with a wooden ruler and flick the form through, only for it to be ripped to shreds within seconds.

My auntie used to have a Jack Russel which would clamp its teeth round my ankle whenever we visited, I've had a dislike of the breed ever since.

I much prefer large dogs as they are generally more laid back than small ones, the previous German Shepherd we had used to lie by the front door and it was quite usual to find her lying with mail on her head as she hadn't bothered to move when the postie came.

The worst bite I've ever had has been from a Jack Russell, who nearly bit one of my fingers off.... my 2 6-stone dogs have never bitten me as badly (including a bit on the face...)

Beau has never lifted his lip in anger - even when he was attacked buy an English Bull Terrier and it's Yorkie side-kick. He just screamed like a girl.
My brother had Chinchilla's. Fab, funny little critters. Used to ride up and down on his back when he was doing press-ups. Never attacked the postman though....

Our next door people have 2 yorkies and they are evil little sh*ts. Me and the dort actually have to come into the house when they go into the garden as they try to get over the 4ft fence and it's not to have their tummies rubbed. It's awfully mean but I look forward to the day of their passing into wooffer heaven.
