Great news on the bees Dobby. My last garden was a haven for them and we had all kinds of bees.
One year we had a swarm of about 11,000 turned up and we had to call for a beekeeper to come and capture them. It was all quite fascinating and I even got to play with the smoke puffer thing. He took them to an estate in Strathblane where he kept hives.
Sadly about a dozen were left behind. It was heart wrenching watching them. They wouldn't leave the spot where the Queen had been and crawled about there until they died. I was so sad about it.

Hi Shirl et al,

Yep, Bees on the plot, or at least thats the plan!

Chucks are still in the pipeline Shirl, just gotta get some money together to fence off the side of the house n get a run built (and replace the fence panels first), then we'll get some chucks too! Now all we need is a smallholding, some goats, pigs, a cow or two n unlimited funds to pay for it all! lol!
