  • Best Gumtr*e or Fr**cycle fr**bies?

I love the internet... I need some gravel for my allotment, but I resent paying for anything that

    a) Is gravel.
    b) Is getting buried.
    c) Is ending up on a bit of land that I don't even own.

So I go on my local Gumtr*e and do a search for gravel, and up comes an ad for 25 bags of gravel free to anyone who can collect! Someone had ordered too many for a building project and just wanted rid!

Other allotment stuff I've got for free like this:

    Compost bins
Windows to turn into cold frames
two builder's bags full of woodchip
    Paving stones
    Cold water storage tanks
    Plastic barrels

So I was wondering, what are other grapes' best internet freebies?

My bargain is waiting patiently for me to find it!

I'm the one who ordered too much gravel and had to pay for someone else's as well as my own!

Will start calling you "The Doctor"..............................I've had lots of 3bies but if I was to choose just one, it would have to be George, a 19 year old Koi Carp I picked up around 15 month ago, weighing in at around 7lb:

Filter coffee maker, TV, cooker (still in its cling film), rug, office cupboard, and best of all a 10x8 greenhouse that I left on the allotment and left it too long to retrieve it.

This is one of the very few down sides to living in paradise. The free stuff is always a VERY long way away!!

                A lean-to GH

                A big olive tree and phormiums that have taken over the front garden;

                Lots of seeds

Nearly all the furniture in the other house

                Compost bins

                Cold frame

                Books,

                100+ picture frames (I don't know why either )

Lots more that I can't remember!
