    Before I go in....

    and mess around with stuff I shouldn't be messing around with....

    Is anyone experiencing problems with Vine site loading? Sometimes it won't load at all, oftentimes it loads with errors and even worse - sometimes when I have penned a wounderful (!) reply to a thread IT THROWS ME OUT

    It has only been happening over the last three days or so however if it isn't just me experiencing this then I will be patient and wait for Ben to fix it - if it is just me I will slap my pooter so 'aaard

        Have any updates been applied to your PC about 3 days ago - my PC at work is now virtually unusable due to the last batch of updates issued by Microsoft (which was last Thursday).

                        No problems here Pixie! Maybe your puter can't handle the supa dupa monitor you've got plugged into it?
                        Is it only the vine you have problems with or are other sites affected?

                        More questions than answers I'm afraid..........but such is life!

                          i've lost all my buttons and pictures on firefox, and been having loads of problems getting on the site, on ie and firefox ..... i uninstalled firefox and most of the crap on the pc, have no viruses/spyware etc have scanned it, defragged it and still crap at getting on ....... whereas i haven't had any problems with any other sites ...... so i dunno whats up cos everyone else says it's fine

                            No problems here either, just the occasional go-slow. Although the interwebbly in general is very sluggish for us at the mo, I don't think it's anything to do with the Vine.

                              I get the odd slow-loading page, but not too many. We've had a really dodgy Broadband connection here for the last three or four days, but I don't find this site any slower than, say, eBay or Metcheck.

                              Firefox was my preferred browser until I downloaded the updates about a month (?) or so ago then it drove me mental; Pages just refusing to load and I kept getting spam warnings on eBay listing pages.

                              So I downloaded Google Chrome, and so far I'm impressed. It's much quicker than Firefox (even with Fasterfox added on, which isn't compatible with the newer version).
