  • Beetroot Scare!

OH and me have been eating a lot of Beetroot lately. Is it just us, or does everyoneget a bit worried about 'blood in water' issues for a few hours after a beetroot binge, before remembering what they've just eaten?
What do you get if you divide the circumference of a pumpkin by its diameter?

I was a bit shocked when one of our little ones had a dark pink #2.

I've so much beetroot - I may have to make a clamp to store it all!

I usually put those 'loo bloos' in our loo. I bought some pink ones and now it looks like we've all had a nasty case of something! Or we've overdosed on beetroot - will be returning to blue!

                    Hi

It's worth it as beetroot roasted, boiled, pickled, grated, made into soup, smoothies is fantastic and supper healthy

Enjoy it as me and my family do for all year round it is one of my main crops planted at the allotment and this year grew five types at stages and there are still plenty in the ground to use

I don't mind when I see it as I eat beetroot at least three times a week in some form

                    Happy gardening

I'm allergic to it. Sometimes restaurants put it on a salad without warning and I have to ask for a salad that hasn't had any anywhere near it as it has been known for them to take it away, take the beetroot off and turn the lettuce over. I also have to check the ingredients of yoghurts as some manufacturers use a beetroot extract as an emulsifier.

I love the taste, I just can't eat it.
