  • Beers are on Wayne then...

TALL people really do get ahead.

Australian researchers have found that tall workers earn more than their shorter colleagues, especially among men. A man who is six foot can expect to take home a "wage premium" of almost $1000 a year.

The boffins paint a bleak picture for the vertically-challenged, but there's good news for chubby workers: overweight people actually earn more than their skinny workmates.

Maybe they need that money because of the extra food they have to eat.

So, being short and slim means that I may as well give up? Oh dear!

By that rationale I should be earning a fortune!

Chances are a fine thing. That's why I'm brewing my own.

Before 2 weeks? That's what it says I have to wait - at least. It's barrelled up, maturing away.

I was hoping before 2pm, what a shame.

Whats it called dude, I used to like a brew in Sheffield called Roger Over & Out, it was sold in 1/3 pint glasses, cos the name was a little too appropriate.

                        It's this one:

                        Smugglers Special Ale

The site was recommended to me by one of our very own Grapes. (goes to have a look and remember who).

It's all a bit new to me - so who knows how it'll turn out.

My dad is banned from making beer since the last time he tried it exploded... whole house smelled for weeks lol.

His wines have always been lovely though
