  • Beautiful Sunshine.

Well, we have Beautiful sunshine here in Barnsley today, not a cloud in the sky just a gentle breeze and pretty warm for this time of year (in the sun), perfect for sitting outside in and tapping away on my laptop..Grand. Question is... What's it like where you are?

Much the same although Chicken Duty was a bit draughty this morning. I've done some watering on the plot and tidied up bean canes. Glorious!

It was sunny for a wee here (at last) but definately fresh feeling. Tomorrow it's raining but I've got my spring bulbs in and my Gelbe Girshen are at last ripening

OK, FF - don't keep us in suspense - what are Gelbe Girshen?
It has been warm and sunny all day with a light breeze - I've been weeding the rows of garlic and onion bulbs and broad bean seedlings. Looking up at a very blue sky saw a couple of what must have been red kites wheeling on the thermals - very excited as have never seen them this far into London before.

Whooops - now what are the dogs getting up to?

Been a lovely day here in East Anglia. Definitely Autumnal though, quite nippy mornings and evenings now.

It's been sunny and warm for weeks on end. I can't remember when we last had decent rain: it must be nearly 2 months ago

(the sun has gone from my back garden by 4pm now though )

Beautiful here today as well. Not clear skies but sunny just the same. Hardly a breeze this evening. had to drag myself in from the garden. Definitely too nice to be indoors.

Beautiful day here. Naturally we'd promised to take our grandchildren to see my mum, so we didn't get a thing done on the plots. I did end up with a touch of sunstroke after chasing around Mum's garden after number one grandson and a football though, which is why it's currently dusk and I'm on the vine instead of locking the chickens away for the night. OH says he thinks he can cope going up there alone.
Into each life some rain must fall........but this is getting ridiculous.

Been great here in Hull too. Hard to believe we're:
                            A) next to the North Sea
                            B) only 4 days away from October!

I didn't think the tomatoes would ripen before the first frosts, but i'm getting another few turning every couple of days and no frosts forcast.
Although my growbags dy out too quickly in this weather and some of my tomatoes have split or got blosom end rot. Still, it's all experience for next year.

Lovely and sunny here too - Been to the Autumn Show at Malvern today with my sister, bought lots of plants, bulbs and seeds and had a great day out.
