Beautiful hot day

I don't wear teeshirts unless it is seriously warm, and I'm wearing one today. I have both the front and back windows open.

I bought one of those Airwick plug-in smelly things a cuppla days ago and it smells not of the flowers it's supposed to smell of, but more like the smell you get when you cut the stalks before putting them in a vase. A bit acrid.

I prefer the smell that is wafting through the house which is a toned down version of manure (which it is, as I live in a small rural town). At least it's natural .

I live in a terrace house with no front garden the front door opens onto the pavement.
I spent the afternoon in shorts & T-shirt sat at on the pavement outside the front door with a beer(or two) & watched life go by.
