  • BBC Gardeners World Show This Week

Anyone else going to this? We're going on Wednesday as I've won two tickets which also includes entry into the evening VIP party. Just think, all the Hoi Polloi of the gardening world will be able to rub shoulders with me and ask my advice

I'm prepared for a group discussion between Alan Titchmarsh, Toby Buckland and Carol Klein and politely tell them what they are doing wrong . Of course if it were to be Alys Fowler, Pippa Greenwood and/or Anne Swithinbank, I would just fawn at their feet.

If the show is a relevant to we Grow-yer-own-for-food fans as the TV gardeners world program is, then i will be glad im not going.

Enjoy it. I won tickets too but we couldn't go as we can't get the time off work.

I was just going to ask the bloke on the door if he'd let me in. I haven't got a ticket.

Well that was a result. The nice man on the door said yes.

                            Booty:

Bought a new hose gun. Priced at £15 but bloke only charged me a tenner. Took a 6-month subscription to GW for the free Felcos, because they seem to be well thought of on here.

Bought 5 packs of heirloom seeds from the Pennard Plants stall, priced at £1.50 each but the chap there only charged me a fiver. Thoroughly nice bloke.

Got a few assorted freebies, as you do. Resisted the temptation to tell Monty Don that radishes on top of spuds is a bad idea. Quite a pleasant afternoon, all in all.
