I really wanted to like the new format, and I tried.

Even for me, it was/is all a bit too forced and "pally" for me.

You finally cracked and admitted it

I just want to see a proper gardening programme, that tells you how to do stuff, when to do stuff, and hints and tips without too much bling.

With the amount of people wanting allotments, and a credit crunch - it ain't rocket science to have a proper 'growing veg on a budget with recycling and seed saving as high priority' programme....is it?

And if the programme was called 'Vegetable Gardener's World' I'd watch it every week!

Fairs fair, I like Toby, I just think they've messed the format up so much that he doesn't stand a chance. I can't be doing with these programmes that spend the first 15 minutes telling you what's 'coming up' in tonight's programme, just get on with it!!

Bring Alan back and get some proper gardening demonstrated.

I just record it at the moment and watch the whole thing in about 5 minutes as occaisionally there is a short article in which I am interested! Always watched with Alan so fingers crossed it's true but only if they do proper gardening like what normal folks do!

PS - don't actually mind Toby and Alys but please please please please please can they get rid of Joe Swift.
