  • Basil is home...

.... my new 7 week old ginger tom!

After we said 'no more pets'.... my daughter kindly helped this little one into the world (mum was struggling on kitten #4). We all trundle in (2 doors away) to go look at the babies. Both OH and myself said 'no' to our daughter... then said to each other 'I said no, because I thought you would'. So here we are 7 weeks later with our new addition.

Not sure how much Poppy (cat, 8yrs) and Hazel (dog, 6yrs) will adjust but HEY! they're animals and will just have to.

I'm very excited. He's dead cute. And seeing as its too wet to garden, gotta do something.

      Hey Witch-1

Nooo! Far too cute!! I got my fur boy from the Blue Cross (such an amazing place) 2 years ago and constantly have to force myself to stay away - unfortunately I only live 5 minutes drive from there so have to pop in every now and then!! I'm unable to have children but haven't succumbed to surrounding myself with animals...........yet!!! think I feel another trip to the Blue Cross coming on!

      Enjoy every moment with Basil.

      Love

Pics coming up real soon... he's settled in fairly well. Poppy does hiss at him occasionally but he hasn't driven her out.. or is that the rain?? Unfortunately being a border collie, Hazel is hurding him loads, won't leave him alone.

I shut him in the dining room when we're not about, and he doesn't enjoy that... and the cage I got was worse! So while we're around he has free run. Still early days... he is cute!

Way too cute. Why do they have to grow up though?
