Banned..?

I think people get banned when they have been warned about something several times and still continue to offend.
Maybe this thread explains it all a bit more?

When I tell others about the Grapevine I take pride in saying I know people who have been banned for persistently being obnoxious, rude or just intolerant. So many other forums allow a level of rudeness/trolling and only ban based on direct offence. But I love the fact that if you're not going to play nice then you're not allowed to stay.
It's the mods' no nonsense attitude that makes this the most friendly and pleasant forum I've ever found and the odd banning serves as a healthy reminder to watch your Ps & Qs like 99% of us do out of habit.

Hope that doesn't make it sound too much like a communist dictatorship!

I used to tell my kids they lived in a benign dictatorship, does that count? I did have to explain to the playschool leader what a "nine tatoship" was though

Part of the T&C is to not ban personal or offensive posts so most people don't..........
