Just been to see the film Avatar. WOW!!!!!! Brilliant, has anyone else seen it. What did you think? Without spoiling the plot it seems to me that there is a message there about respecting nature or Mother Earth, something the Grapes have known for a long time. I would see it again and that is saying something for me.

Saw the trailers when I went to see New Moon, but wasn't sure whether it would be my cuppa based on them.

I know a few peeps who have and they all say its brilliant - may have to give it a go

Can't remember the last time I went to the cinema. Probably to see the first Star Wars way back when??? I love going but not on my own and the OH doesn't care much for films unless it's a chick flic. Still will get it when it comes out on DVD.

Yes I thought oh we will get it on DVD when it come out. But I think you really need the big screen to get the full 3D effect. I have not been to the picture since ET came out as not a great fan . But this is something very different.

true it will be better on the big screen, but I hate the thought of sitting in the uncomfortable seats and having the experience spoilt by people coughing rattling crisp packets etc, so I downloaded it and watched it on the computer.

I haven't seen this yet, but saw "A Christmas Carol" in 3d and it was amazing.

I didn't really see the point of cinemas these days either, but 3D changes that. Really impressive.

I'd highly recommend anyone who hasn't seen one yet to go. In the 3D trailers before the film, somebody threw their hat at you unexpectedly and everyone automatically ducked/took cover.

we saw it last night, it was fantastic. Well the story was a bit weak but the effects were something else. It has to be the future of film making and its really exciting.

Seen it! Yes, it's brilliant - although I think that if you haven't worked out the plot within the first 10 minutes, you're just not trying!

It's amazing in 3D, but would also work in 2D and is definitely one for the DVD collection. That said, I think it needs to be seen at least once in the cinema.
