Default Ashes to Ashes

Loved it!!! Didn't want to hope for too much after LoM being so great but thought it hit the mark with the drama/humour combo perfectly.

Wouldn't kick Gene out of bed either! Lol!!!

I didn't see Life on Mars so I don't know what I missed but thoroughly enjoyed Ashes to Ashes last night.

Life on Mars is deffo on my birthday/Christmas list though if it's BETTER than Ashes to Ashes.

Totally agree.
However i think this one deserves merit, but i think if you hadnt seen LoM it would have been enjoyed more.

I think you have to watch A2A on it's own merits. When you think of some of the rubbish that gets aired, even if it never reaches the heights of LoM, it'll still be better than most of what's on!

I saw someone moaning earlier (no-one here) about the shoot out by the Thames being 'silly and unrealistic' - I thought that was a very obvious 'A Team' tribute (especially as no-one got killed ). Funny and clever and very 'eighties'!
