  • Anyone Watch Mrs Browns Boys?

Well theres a thread about 'The Big Bang Theory', so i though i would start a thread about this show, i and everyone i know seems to love it, it seems to be the only show the only comical show that keeps the mistakes in, which i think adds to the humour. Anyway i just wondered what you thought of the programme???

In our house it gets turned off quicker than Eastenders. I have tried to watch it but can't bear it. Reminds me of Steptoe and Son for some reason and I couldn' t watch that either. Love Miranda which is on before it though!

well ya see i like steptoe an son too - but i do like miranda, however recently it seems to bit a bit exhausted, shes still doing the same gags from the first series, which after a few times seem to me to loose their humor - but maybe its just me that thinks that???

I know what you mean. Can't take her seriously as a midwife either.

We watch it Matt, but with mixed feelings. Some of it I find hilarious, especially when they get it wrong (and that's sometimes on purpose), but some of it is just plain daft. Miranda? Watched my first two episodes this season and I still haven't made my mind up. Hope your job's going ok.

Love it in our house. The missed lines and errors make it even funnier. Don't know how they get themselves together to carry on.
Now father ted.. That's the best ever and we will happily watch it over and over again.

Mrs Brown's Boys, one of the unfuniest and cringeworthy things on the TV, both me and OH race for the control box if it comes on. Not that fussed about Miranda although liked her when I saw her interviewed as herself and she seems fine as a midwife although don't watch the programme unless I'm at my mum's.

Some of us live in the past, always talking about back then. Some of us live in the future, always planning what we are going to do. And, then there are those, who neither look behind or ahead, but just enjoy the moment of right now.

Which one are you and is it how you want to be?

I seem to be included in the minority of the population who doesn't like Mrs Browns Boys. I watched it the other night and although I smiled once or twice, it didn't make me laugh at all. Don't like Miranda either, not my cup of tea.

I switched of after the few minutes of Mrs Browns Boys I just didn't find it funny, even felt a bit embarrassed for those taking part in the show.
