  • Anyone in Preston/Fylde Area - French Market!

    Hiya

Was dropping my pooch off at the vets this morning (he is be castrated today ) and noticed some signs for a French Market in Poulton Le Fylde this weekend

I went to one there at the beginning of the year - French cheese, meats, chorizo-type sausages, bread, cakes etc - I spent more than I should have done, but it was well worth it!

Just thought I'd let you North-Westers know, in case you fancy spending some pennies!

Hi Shelley - hope the pooch is OK. We normally get a French market in Chorley round Christmas time - I agree they're very good.

Tell you pooch he has my sympathy I know what he's going thru but not to worry as he'll turn out to be a garden guru in a few years time

Hi everyone - yes, have been to the french market a few times when it's been in Chorley, and know that they do move around the area a bit, so it could be the same one. Well worth a visit. must admit, I do prefer the local farmers markets, particularly the one held at Houghton Tower every 3rd Sunday in the month - now there's a FAB place for getting organic meat, veg, fish - you name it! highly reccommended! dexterdog

Sounds like your OH has got you well trained Nick (in the best possible taste of course!) - my OH learned 23 years ago that I say "dinner is ready" only once. dexterdog
