It's a revised repeat of the series shown last year or year before. Enjoyed at the time but not sure I'll watch again. I also have the book which I read month by month, giving me inspiration for the garden.

Nothing wrong with not liking her VC. If we all like the same presenter there would only be one and of course if we all liked the same lady, she would be a very busy lady indeed.

Had a look at the programme - some nice flowers but like most of these Professional Presenters, she gave the latin names for the flowers which had a caption showing their common name - I find this type of presentation pretentious and a turn off.

I recognise the woman from a book about growing veg I had from the Library, (along with 2 others) a month or so back - one of the books was excellent, but I told the Librarian that hers was a waste of space. I have no doubt she is a well educated lady and a good gardener, but she does not come across well - mind you I don't like Monty Don presentation skills either.

I actually prefer some of the stuff you get from amateurs on the internet - some of them are really informative although the camera work does not always match the presentation. I would like to see some of these people having the advantage of a good cameraman rather then the professionals.

They would be a lot cheaper as well.

I watched it since it's a gardening program. She does come across as a bit gushing/enthusiastic but she does strike me as a genuine gardener who does the work herself unlike others who have an army of helpers. Thus it will be sky plussed next week.
