Default Anyone else enjoy Big Brother?

Thought I would like to chat about the happenings in the house but if its only me I am quite happy to talk to myself (often do anyway!) and let you all read and laugh at me.

My parents in law are comming to stay on Tuesday for up to 5 days and they are totaly anti, in fact it was the cause of a row when we went on holiday with them last year (she said she was going to bed and I hadnt watched all week so I turned over as they were going up but they loitered and they sprang for my jugular - made out only uneducated people watched it!) so my plan this week is to tape it at 9pm then when I retire I can watch it in peace in my bedroom! (thank heavens for a tv in the bedroom!)

I really enjoyed the chilli challenge and was just cringing at first then was astounded that Kat did sooooooo well and then cheering Mikey as he beat her well and truly but disappointed he didnt get to be head of house. How pathetic Mohammed was with his total over reacting!

Oh and I meant to say that in the beginning I thought they would be growing their own but havent seen any evidence - bit of a disappointment.

Haven't seen it this series - and I don't know anyone (apart from you so far) that has watched it. Even LadyWayne is bored of it now - and my brother (who has applied in the past) isn't even watching it anymore.

I can see how after the 5th or 6th series that it can lose its appeal but I just love people watching. I find the human nature facinating and there have been some very good challenges this series.

I like people watching, but I prefer to do it from a pub garden/cafe with a pint/glass o'wine in my hand.

Each to their own though.

(I'm even starting to find TopGear - one of my favourite programmes, a bit tedious nowadays).

Mock the Week, QI, Never Mind the Buzzcocks however...

Hi F.D. You're not alone! Although I have to admit that this series is poss the worst!!We're not quite as "dedicated" to it this year! There's really no-one in there that interests me & actually all rather dull!Luke really needs to be the next for the chop~or maybe they could evict the lot & pop some slightly interesting peeps in!
To show how much I think of the others I actually think Rex is my fave!!

ooohhh... sorry, but I can't bear it. I watched the first two, and enjoyed them, but since then it seems to have become one loooong and tedious audition to become a Z-list 'sleb.

We don't watch much tv at all really, but do like QI, and make a special exception to worship at the comedy altar of Peep Show.

No, never watched it either. I find so called reality TV pointless and often very contrived. Situations are set up to cause rows just for the sake of viewing figures. I don't take kindly to people trying to manipulate me like that. Anyway, I'd be bored out of my brain in a few minutes.

I've been watching it, but I'm not as obsessed with it this year as I was in the past. For goodness sake - get that Darnell out!!! He loves himself too much and is a really horrible person! Fancy telling one of the girls in "hell" to make him a meal when they were short of food already, then pushing it to one side saying that he didn't really want it, he just wanted a woman to cook for him. Disgusting horrible man!! If I voted, then I'd vote to get him out a.s.a.p.
Hope Darnell and Mohammed are up for eviction this week, that'll wipe the grins off their faces

I was a dedicated follower when it first started... loved the first few years but each year it gets more and more full of wannabe celebs - I tend to watch the first one of each series just to see who is going in and then watch the odd one if I am around and there is nothing else on. I haven't really engaged with any of the characters this year.

Me too.
I`ve never found watching this sort of programme interesting. I watched a bit of a celebrity get me out of here once, but only because it had Jonny Rotten/Lyden on it, as soon as he left I didn`t watch anymore.

I've never voluntarily watched it, I have seen it a few times though, but not this series, I think it was series 2 or 3. A good friend was 1) very ill and 2) so bored because of said illness that she watched it all the time. As a result I had to sit through it whenever I went to visit. I remember calling round one lunch time and there she was, glued to it 'live' on a satellite channel. I put 'live' in inverted commas as they were all asleep apart from one chap who was sitting in the garden, faffing with a bit of wood and talking to some chickens. Actually a couple of years ago my daughter became somewhat obsessed with something on the net called 'Hencam'. Basically a web-cam in a chicken coop. Perhaps B.B. should take a leaf out of their book and next time put the cameras on the chickens....far more interesting.

I watched a few episodes when John McCririck was on but only 'cos Brian knew him and his missus. I can't stand the show. It's the most boring load of drivel.

Sorry if that upsets people.

I watched the first series, I liked a lot of the people in that. But since then it has got steadily more & more contrived & manipulated, to the point that I would call it 'mindless drivel' at best.
Since Lost finished, practically the only thing I watch on TV is QI, and the odd CSI (but not Miami, prat with with his sun-glasses...)

i didnt want Bex to go, but god please get out Darnel and Mo as the most annoying boring people in the world, also i am not a big Kat fan really, but I think Luke could win it, mind you i do quite fancy Dale or Stu, but not for their brains and personality ha ha ha !!
