  • Anyone been on TV?

Has anyone here been on the TV before?
I have been on the news about 4 times and done a few interviews about my livestock.
It looks like I am going to make my first appearance for the potatoes this year on a cookery program on BBC2.
I got the phone call last week and they want to come down in December and show what we do with the potatoes and then make a selection for a top chef to use in a signature dish of Scotland.
They are going to grow the seed themselves and harvest it for the show.
I am more excited than when I was a wee boy and our potatoes were on gardeners world for about 2 seconds it was a thrill.
    Potato videos here.

I'm intrigued... what was it? come on share.

I was on TV unintentionally... a couple of years ago I went to see Villa play at Liverpool with some friends and we had front row seats, during a throw-in you could plainly see me and my friends cheering on Liverpool - OH watched on MOTD and wasn't too impressed... being a Villa fan!

              Oh Well Done tattieman!
Trousers and I would love to know more information about when it's on, if we may?
It's great when you can 'blow your own trumpet'.... people should seriously do it more often.
If you're proud of appearing in The Paper or On Telly, just bang on about it I say!

I was on Channel 4 News once. I was working for Leo Burnett Advertising Agency in London, in their Research Department. It was brilliant at the time, but I'm Bu@@ered if I remember what it was for now though!

Well, McDonalds Burgeroos are being Leo Burnett's biggest client for some years, but I'm thinking that you weren't on Ch4 saying 'mmm, I'm lovin' it'

I'd be appalled to be caught on camera/tape as *apparently* I have to most appalling brummie accent....this is not true in real life, obviously.

Good for ya, Tattieman, give us a heads up nearer the time.

I was once on local news, being carted round a fireworks show on my grandad's shoulders.

And then again when the Harrier fell in the sea at Lowestoft Air Show. Here's a clip - that's me in the sea at 15 seconds in, to the left of the screen with a small boy on my shoulders (I was looking the wrong way and missed the whole thing).

Well I am expecting the film crew down in December and the show will be on In June as far as I know at the moment.
I will see if I can get the part of the show at my place onto youtube and let you see.
I don't even know what the programme is called yet

Sky News for me - I was working for CITB and had to attend a Q&A session with our CEO on Diversity in Construction. I was the muppet who kept asking questions and so most of mine are on there. Each time they bring out diversity in Construction issues/initiatives I get calls from friends saying they have just seen me on Sky News - again. Ho hum.

French TV a couple of years ago- interviewed in English about recalling dreams so they could be analysed

That must have left them thinking the English are a right bunch of nutters if I'm anything to go by!!!!!!

Well done tattieman though, I'd love to see it if you can manage to U-Tube any of it. Love my spuds!
