  • Any tips for 'goodbyes' ?

We're off in a minute to take our son to the airport.
We've had a fantastic 10 days together and feeling all 'mommyish', I need some tips to stop me sobbing my heart out at the airport.
Not a cool site for an adult son to witness

I'll be fine once the plane has taken off.

Any tried and tested methods peeps?

Nope when I lived overseas, I cried, my mum cried! The other end, on leaving my beloved and returning home again, he cried, I cried.
Recently on waving Mr VVG off to Brazil for a week's working - we all cried!
It's airports/flying. They're used to it! Sob it out and we will be thinking of you xxx

What Patch says! Hug, turn your back and walk out, don't look back. Better still, don't go to the airport at all

When we have the goodbyes we always weep. It's become something of a joke for the boys as to which of the girls is going to start first and set everyone else off.

I think he'd be upset if you didn't cry Nicos, so go with the flow and remember to say "See you Soon", all love to you x

Mr VVG just watched The Snowman and The Snowdog with me - tears were rolling and this time they weren't mine. He is now snuggled up to our two "Socks" dogs on the sofa.
