I think my electricity bill is ridiculos; let me explain. The only items which run 24/7 are my fridge /freezer and a small upright freezer. TV/DVD and all other gubbins are only 'on' when we use them and never on 'Standby'. I have 3 x 7w enegy savers which run dawn to dusk, 3 energy savers in main rooms and half a doz incandesant lightbulbs. I'm an obsessive 'switcher offer'. Only two of us in the household, we both work so are out most of the day. No electrick cooking or heating of immersion heater.
And yet I pay £72 per month with Eon, £189 last quarter. I only want to pay my bit & not for the street.
I had problems with E7 as I though it was not working, I complained about for 2 years Eon found out the E7 was not coming on!
I still think its too expensive for what I use and the meter is out of calibration. Eon will not tell me when that was done and want to charge £200+vat for an engineer to come out. this is where the electricity monitor comes in; shall I get one to check consumtion my self & do they work?
