    Any NVS members here?

    I joined the NVS (national Veg Society) lastnight and paid my membership to get access to the member area and within seconds I was into the members section only to find I was the only one there
    I was a bit disappointed to say the least.
    Is anybody on here a member?

          The National Vegetable Society, advancing the culture, study and improvement of vegetables.

          I do look at this regularly, but I'm not sure I'd join.

                  Yes I have got my own chat room in it and a membership card on the way.
                  There is meant to be over 2500 members but they just don't use the chat rooms.

                    may as well just stay here then, it's fun, and theres loads of people, and best of all it's free ....... and if we get the tshirt/badge thing going, you can have one of them

                        Hee hee if there had been a membership card here I would have paid for it as it would be worth it. So who is going to print the t-shirts then?
                        I just thought it would be full of interesting stuff for me to read about on there rather than chat to be honest. I might start to show some potatoes again and thought I could spy on the opposition and see what they were doing.

                          I think the reason that no one is there, is because in general allotmenteers are quite frugal, and wouldn't pay for ow't for now't when there is a free alternative here.
