    Am I the first??

    Having a BBQ tomorrow afternoon!!!!
    Bet SOME clever clogs got themselves organised and is having one tonight.....Go on, who are ya????

    Not me - have been out all day and although it's been 20c here today I think the temperature will be dropping quickly. You have the best idea having a BBQ in the afternoon. Have a good time!

        My parents are going to my bro's for BBQ tonight. He does very traditional BBQ food - carbonised on the outside and running blood in the middle. Rather them than me.

        We BBQ on Christmas day. Can't abide turkey...but steak & chips nommmmm...

          Me neither two_sheds. However I did make a pizza today at Ryton Gardens in the sun, even though the Pizza man stood chatting and overcooked mine and another few people's.

          *It's a work event/weekend so I opted to have the pizza otherwise I'd not have eaten all day. Back on low carbs now...I just couldn't resist hand made pizza cooked in a pizza oven in the sun. Nom.

            My bbq's are not terribly traditional -I'm a big fan of bbq'd seafood. Unfortunately, Mr Teez is of the Burger/Sausage-or-it-isn't-a-bbq upbringing (funnily enough the two items I can do without on my menu), so they will have to be there. Still, I have some salmon and some sardines. so I'll be happy! As long as there is wine - which if I carry on - there won't be.....

              we have'nt B Q yet BUT,son has a little chimneya,we have had several jacket spuds,leeks and squashes cooked in foil,nomnom,down the lottie end january and feburary,great stuff,
              sigpicAnother nutter ,wife,mother, nan and nanan,love my growing places,seed collection and sharing,also one of these

                              We cheat, OH won't eat outside, but since we caved in and bought a gas one 3 years ago, we bbq anytime we have something like steak, chops or burgers, regardless of the time of year. OH won't cook though, it's aways me or son No2. DD has finally got over her fear of matches, so if she'd around she like to light it
                              I could not live without a garden, it is my place to unwind and recover, to marvel at the power of all growing things, even weeds!
                              Now a little Shrinking Violet.
