  • Am I Addicted.

If I tell you the symptoms can you help with the diagnosis?

I wake in the morning, shower, dress and go for a walk round the garden to drink my tea.

I come in, read the paper and before going to work have a quick look round the garden.

I come home for lunch and eat my sandwich whilst walking round the garden.

I come home at tea time and before I eat I talk a walk round the garden.

I have my tea and go to work in the garden.

When darkness falls I come to the office to visit the vine, later I shower and before I go to bed I take a walk round the garden just to make sure its still there.

Do I have a problem? Is it serious please help.

    Colin.

You have a problem at no point do you check the GH/blowaway/stayput to see how the seedlings are progressing

      Sound perfectly normal to me.

I just didn't hear you confess to always coming back in with grubby hands due to the compulsion to pull out some weeds/pinch out the tomatoes/rub off a few blackfly.
Whether you think you can or whether you think you can't, you are probably right.

I'm the same. I just look at the plants growing in my garden, and before I know it i've been out for 30mins. Left for work almost an hour later than I normally do this morning as I was just gawking at stuff in my greenhouse.

          Odd, isn't it?

You only have a problem when you start going out in your jim-jams and dressing gown. It is possible to garden in slippers, however, you just get through them quicker than most people!

No problem - all perfectly normal, I wondered what was happening to my slippers

Recently had a week in hospital, right in the middle of the asparagus season, I was more worried about my seedlings than the brain surgery!

First stop when I got home - check out the garden/windowsills/blowaway

I'm sorry to have to say that you are obviously FAR too obsessed with work! You need to spend some quality time in the garden!

Thankyou for all your supportive replies,

I had visions of being taken away by those chaps in white coats

Now it turns out I am normal, well nearly
