| Ghastly thought but I was 14 in 1971 (where did the years go!?!). Not sure if it was the exact year or slightly later but I have some very happy memories of red suede pixie boots, jumpers with pompoms and a new found love for Paul Weller and The Jam (I'll let you know once I've grown out of it!!!).

| Do I have to go here ! Buddy Holly, Elvis Presley, Gene Vincent, Tommy Steele ( and the rest). I met Paul Simons when I was 16 in a field belonging to the family I was to marry into. He wasn't famous at the time, just a folk-singer doing the rounds .

| This has made me think - What was the first single I ever bought. It was the brotherhood of man - save all your kisses for me. The eurovision song contest winner in 1971. I remember it cost me around 60p and I vividly remember buying it. I was only around 10 at the time. We had a special dance to go with it. |
