just had an attack of the munchies, couldn't be bothered with cakes (no bun cases or icing) ...... so went for a root in the cupboard, cornflakes .... didn't fancy them with milk, but found some syrup and brown sugar and cocoa ..... hmmmmmm chucked a lump of butter in a pan, huge spoonful of syrup, lump of sugar (gone a bit sticky) couple of shakes of cocoa powder, mixed in the last of the cornflakes (sorry rob) ........ but ohhhhhhh it was worth it ...... tis very yummy what you can make by accident ...... i may have made some more but don't think it will work with weetabix

hmmmm unfortunately no dried fruit or choccie drops in the cupboard lol ..... was an emergency too, and far too cold and icy to go out, can imagine it with cherries and marshmallows in though

and nuts,if you make butter icing ,make some with cocoa in,mmm,it keeps great in the fridge for a fair while, the you can, spread on bread biscuts, ice cream, and in yogurt, also tasty with coffee instead of chocie, and add walnuts, this is making my tatse buds quiver, but i will resist this time, you have extra on my behalf.

We used to have them when we were kids. Sometimes they had raisins added in. We called them Truffles - don't know why.

              Sounds particularly naughty but nice.

Was just thinking that hun!! Why is it that the experimental just-thrown-together stuff always tastes the best?

Are you feeling less sickie? I always find strong coffee helps to dilute the excess sugar hit.
