Novice grower. Always loved playing swingball with the grandkids and still play.
Had a great day at pitch and putt. Competition weekend so we had a great turnout.
Tomatoes now turning into a glut as usual. However I am not complaining.
Chillis are also ripening rapidly now ...all good so far.

And when your back stops aching,
And your hands begin to harden.
You will find yourself a partner,
In the glory of the garden.

son was saying about the very thing for our front regarding sand, prior to blocks, aparently there is something on line, put in your measurments, and it works it out for you, also ring a few places with the figures, and they should tell you,and give a price,so you will end up with a good idea, the sand to lay blocks has a depth of about an inch,so i have been tolled,as for ballast, the depth will depend on how much if any, needs to be dug dug out for a stable base.

Morning everyone. Yep up early again. Just can't sleep at the moment. So kettle is on if anyone wants a cuppa.
Looks nice and sunny here so think I'm helping in the garden again today.
    Have a good morning everyone

Morning all, fabulous day here. The sun has definately got his hat on
Nothing much planned for today, will try and get a walk in later on - part of my "bound to be" short lived excersise plan.
Still cooking meals with the fruits of our labour. I did a stir fry last night with freshly picked veg. Lovely.
    Have a great day everyone
