Good that she can manage to eat something on her own tho - not sure if I could ever have poultry - too stressful!!!

Now we've had some rain (well, a couple of decent showers) I'm debated whether to nip up to the Hill just to enjoy the smell of things GROWING!

Put a few plants out this morning to start to harden off....harden off!!! Thats a laugh...poor buggers were nearly blown away! Had to stick them back in the greenhouse before I left! They were all tattered and bruised and seemed to be looking up at me and saying " You b*st*rd! Grrr!!!"

yes good idea, love the smell of spring, makes you want to do rolly pollys in the wet grass.

So pleased to hear she's on the mend. I never thought I'd be worried about a duck the other end of the country!

Hi Beefy - just recovering from 48 hours of 50 mph winds. Everything in the garden with a bit of green leaf is now decimated. I'll have to start again!
