We chat about fruit and veg all day long - and lots of other things too. There's no way I could keep quiet until 7.30

I, for one, can't see the point? I know I'm one of the guilty ones, but I can't help feeling there's enough, erm, 'chat' on this forum already.
However, I'm prepared to be shouted down.

We used to have a Sunday Night chat which was well used- but to be honest the general chat thread took over and peeps natter all day on it.
Padraig I think it's a good idea to find when is your quietest time of day and come on here on a regular basis- you'll soon find Grapes who are around at that time too!
We saw the chat thread go quieter for a while when GYO started up on Facebook. Too many chat thread spreads out the natterers until there are not enough regulars to have a good banter session!
Nice idea, but what we have works well for us!
( also- every site needs to offer something a bit different doesn't it to suit all tastes? )

Padraig, I think you'll find that this forum is much much bigger than the NVS members forum and there are folks on the go here all the time. Sad to say the NVS Forum seems to be dying on its feet and your bit of organisation there has livened things up a bit for about an hour every week but as I said, that forum is much much smaller..Comment
