FD .. Now I fancy some gingerbread and haven't got any.

Zazen let's hope the weather people are right now. I don't think I could cope with any more snow. Youngest has her driving test on thursday and will be gutted if it's cancelled .

Anyone else look out the window and think - "hang on, where's the snow?". I looked out of the office yesterday and thought it jarring to see greenery.

Yup, it's amazing how quickly we get used to things. I keep thinking I must wear my X boots as they grip better - but I don't need them now do I? doh!!!

Hi all, I hope you're all well!

Does anyone else have a problem with the 'Metcheck' site, or is it just me? I can't seem to get any info just an error message. It's been like it for a week.

Hiya Cookie Monster.

I've just recovered - I cycled to the post office and sheesh! My legs were wobbling by the end. How inactive over the holiday????

Need to do some of Ollie's Butt Stretches.

Forgot to tell you - haven't won anything for months and we got 4 numbers on the lottery this Saturday. Last time we had 4 numbers (eons ago) we got £80. This week? £29.00! Better than a poke in the eye with a sharp stick I suppose.

Haven't been on my bike for - well, a long time. Bought one of those trailers (one of these in fact: Buy InStep Quick N EZ Bicycle Trailer Buggy for £69.99 at pluckpoint.com) at the weekend. Looking forward to getting out and about on it, but not so much the after effects.

Well today hasn't been that good! I spent the first half of the day sure that it was Wednesday (can I join your club Fi?), nearly set fire to the kitchen when a tea light leaked and set alight the inside of the oil burner. Then preparing dinner I lost my peeling knife - picked it up, put it down, lost within a few seconds, could not work out what I'd done with it, OH even came and checked everywhere. Decided to ignore it and used another knife, when I was clearing up after, sure enough there's my knife - it had slid underneath the warped chopping board. Not really a problem, but I was seriously beginning to doubt my sanity

With you there CF - I looked everywhere for a fleece waistcoat that I wear as an extra layer sometimes. Turned the place upside down - nope. Went and checked in the car - nope. GRRRRR

This evening I went to the stables, pulled my coat out of the car, and, you guessed it, out fell the fleece. It had been hidden under my coat. GRRRRR

Morning All!

Well, I've managed to put them off so far, but today my dad and aunt are coming to visit me post-op. Call me selfish, but I want to be splatted out of the sofa in my dressing gown with you lot, not tidying up and making cups of tea for visitors!! Bleurgh!!

okay binley...I'll be good. I've decided to go half way with getting dressed, loose waisted tracksuit bottoms and a vest top, with dressing gown over the top. I've washed my hair, but I can't be bothered to put any 'face' on. OH actually did a smashing job of tidying the living room, its just the rest of the 'public areas' that are worrying me!
