Hi Earthbabe - and well done! I only just noticed... being a bit dopey! I haven't been on for a while and noticed that DDL wasn't MOM anymore and wondered which worthy grape it has been passed to next!

You're definitely a worthy contender for the MOM crown - keep up the good posts!!

Courier delivery is the best way nick, trust me. Much as Miss E is wonderful wouldn't go through the birth thing again for anything (well ok jackpot winning numbers on a rollover week maybe!)

Default Parcel has arrived

Hoorah! It's here. Join me while I unwrap.

.....fights through bubble wrap.......

Wahay - four books, two of which I wanted to get my hands on. I now have moon gardening info for 2007 at my finger tips. Experiments here we come. Also Michael Wale's view from a shed of which I had read an extract and wanted to read more.

Beautiful book about wildlife in the garden. Lovely pics. Very excited.

Lots of seeds yum!
DVDs
Sticky traps which will probably initially end up in the kitchen.
Lovely new trowel and a gorgeous knife which is mine, mine, mine. In other words I may not share it with Mr E will see how generous I'm feeling. I think he prefers a japanese knife or cleaver so it may be safe.

Huge big thanks. I have no excuses now for not knowing what to plant nor can I complain about problems prepping. Miss E will love the wildlife book, but I may have to book the tv for the DVDs.

Hi EB! If you've got the same knife as me - it's FAB! and my OH is NOT allowed to use it, touch it, well, he can look at it but that's all! DDL

DDL its a lovely little veg knife. Used it today and it's soooooo much better than the other ones we have. Lovely to handle and cuts beautifully. Have told Mr E that he may look but not touch.

Hi woolymummoth and welcome to the vine. Thanks for the congrats. I managed to cut myself on my "lovely little veg knife" while prepping garlic which left me grateful that I wasn't doing the 40 cloves of garlic chicken recipe.

I'd just like to say thank you to you all for your encouragement, advice and jokes (dubious and other) during the last month. You've all made my month as MOM highly enjoyable, extremely enlightening and also challenging and insipring. I hope you all experience much success and joy with all your projects over the coming seasons and that we continue to share the fun, advice, support and friendship we have enjoyed.

Blessings and thought to those for whom there have been endings but also for those experiencing new beginnings.
